什么是ISOFIX
ISOFIX的全称是"International Standards Organisation FIX"，中文意思是：国际标准化组织固定装置。它是一个关于在汽车中安置儿童座椅的新标准。这一标准正在为众多汽车制造商所接受，其作用是在于使儿童座椅的安装变得快速而简单。
当汽车出厂时ISOFIX接口就已经被装配在车里了。儿童座椅生产商在儿童座椅上安装ISOFIX接头。这样ISOFIX儿童座椅就可以轻易地固定至汽车的ISO FIX接口中了。
ISOFIX的制定是一个重要的发展，因为很多人不能正确地安装儿童座椅，调查显示很大比例的儿童座椅安装不够安全。
目前大部分儿童座椅被放置在车内座椅上并使用斜挎肩带（有时只使用腰带）固定。然而，不同车型的汽车有不同的座椅、安全带和固定方式。汽车座椅形状不同、安全带长度较短和锚固点位置不同，都会导致一些儿童座椅安放的位置更靠前或更靠后。所有这些因素使得制造适用所有车型的儿童座椅成为一个难题。
制定ISOFIX就是要解决所有这些问题。它的终极目标是让你购买的任何ISO FIX儿童座椅都适合你的汽车，你只需简单地将它插入儿童座椅接口就可以。
ISOFIX的另一个作用是它可以在儿童座椅和汽车之间建立刚性连接以使其更加稳固。
Isofix国际标准于1999年出台。目前投入使用的许多新车已带有Isofix锚固点，也都配备有婴儿和儿童安全座椅。所以任何希望且有能力购买带有Isofix锚固点新车的人都已经选购了这种配置。

In 1997, BRITAX RÖMER launched ISOFIX together with VW in the Golf V. Yet, this safety system has become an international installation interface for standardised anchorage points between a child seat and a vehicle. It minimises installation errors and optimises protection through a rigid connection to the car chassis.

2004 New safety-seat I-II-III with automatic belt-tension-adjuster
STM develops a patented, automatic belt-tension-adjuster in order to be able to take advantage of the lying position without having to re-adjust the belts.
